What causes psytrance?
Psychedelic trance, psytrance or psy is a subgenre of trance music characterized by arrangements of rhythms and layered melodies created by high tempo riffs. It is comparable to the hardcore, underground style of trance music. The genre offers variety in terms of mood, tempo, and style.
How do you mix psytrance music?
My go to easy way to mix is: Have the mids and highs turned down to about 60-70% bass completely killed, mix in during a break where 32 bars of no bass matches up with 32 bars of no bass. Just have the volume high up and as the break starts press play (or have it playing and turn op the volume at the right time).
Why is psytrance so popular?
