Lawless has it’s unintentionally laughable moments and annoyingly montages through some of the more interesting parts but it’s still a good gangster thriller. It’s got solid production values, John Hillcoat’s direction is really good and it’s beautifully filmed. The action is thrilling and the soundtrack is great.
