Jeltrate® Plus™ Antimicrobial Dustless Alginate Impression Material is an irreversible hydrocolloid material designed for making dental impressions for case study models, orthodontic models, and opposing models.

Is dental alginate hazardous?
Chemical stability Product is considered stable and hazardous polymerisation will not occur. The material is not thought to produce adverse health effects or irritation of the respiratory tract (as classified by EC Directives using animal models).

Temperature of the Water / Controlling Working Time – At 80° F / 27° C, Renewtm Alginate will have a Working Time of 8 minutes and a Cure Time of 10 minutes. Warmer water will cause the material to cure faster (less working time).
What happens if you swallow alginate?
Take your time removing the alginate from the teeth as to not damage the mold. Once the mold is out rinse the taste from your mouth and spit out any left over bits of alginate, it is non-toxic and won’t hurt you if you swallowed.
Does dental alginate have gluten?
To the best of our knowledge this product does not contain gluten, wheat grains, flaxseed, natural rubber, or natural latex. All components are synthetically produced; none are derived from animal products.
