Can I use charcoal lighter fluid in my Zippo hand warmer?

As fuel in a Zippo, charcoal lighter fluid, like motor oil, will not work. Spinning the striker wheel will create a shower of sparks but the sparks won’t produce enough heat to vaporize the fuel.

Can you sleep with a Zippo hand warmer?

No, do not use a Zippo hand warmer. You could very easily burn yourself and/or damage your sleeping bag. Disposable hand warmers are a great answer for this. Hot/boiling water in a Nalgene bottle is also a good answer for this.
