What is the ASRT application fee for students?
$10
Individuals applying for Student membership must demonstrate that they are currently enrolled in a primary educational program in the radiologic sciences. Eligibility for Student membership shall terminate upon initial certification. The $10 application fee is waived for this category.
What is the difference between ARRT and ASRT?
The main difference between the two groups is that the ARRT is more focused on preparing individuals for working in the field through testing and certification, whereas the ASRT is more focused on fostering community and furthering education.

Yes. Because the ASRT electronically transfers your credits to the ARRT, it may be more convenient for you to renew your ARRT registration on the ARRT website. If you renew your ARRT registration online, CE credits transferred by ASRT up to the day before you renew will appear on your ARRT online CE report form.
Are SDMS credits A or A+?
The difference between Category A and A+ is a designation assigned by the RCEEM that approves the course. Yes, AHEC’s Home Study and CE courses are approved for Category A credit, by AHRA, ASRT or SDMS. These approval agencies are designated by ARRT as a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanisms (RCEEM).
